Blackjack Turquoise at first glance definitely doesn't look like what most of us have come to expect turquoise to look like but it is beautiful nonetheless in its rugged and different appearance. This piece of Blackjack has a scenic feel which is a little unusual for this uncommon stone. Generally, Blackjack has larger chunks of dark matrix and/or has a ribbon of turquoise running through the stone. In addition to a beautify stone this pendant has outstanding silverwork. The stone is bezel set with a twist wire and is double wrapped with very pleasant looking saw work. All that silver leads to a pendant with a very nice weight in hand. The silver has a high shine polish which helps overall to brighten up the pendant. The pendant is approximately 1 7/8" in length from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant. It is stamped sterling and hallmarked LMY for Larry Moses Yazzie. The Blackjack turquoise and silverwork combine to create a gorgeous piece of jewelry that will surely become a favorite.
