There are so many aspects of this turquoise cuff bracelet that make it very special. First, the turquoise stone is from a mine called Pilot Mountain. Pilot Mountain is a rather uncommon stone and can be desirable for both the color of the turquoise and the color of the matrix. The turquoise color in this stone is so saturated and vivid and it has a gorgeous honey mustard colored matrix. Second, the stone is laid "East West" which is also less common. Can we talk about the size of the applique hoguns/star shots? They sit up so high they almost look like spikes. The cuff is 7/8" wide and is a size 6 3/4" with a 1 1/4" gap. Stamped sterling and hallmarked with two pictograms. One is an arrow. The second appears to be a hogun. Full disclosure: There are teeny-tiny pits in the matrix. These pits are considered normal for turquoise matrix and doesn't generally affect the integrity of the stone. These pits are so small I wasn't able to capture them adequately on camera. (See pic 5). They really aren't visible to the naked eye. Just thought you should know ;)
